Welcome to MEND, a remedial massage and myotherapy clinic located in Brisbane. By accessing our website and booking services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

MEND offers professional remedial massage and myotherapy treatments aimed at improving your health, by helping treat musculoskeletal pain, tension, and dysfunction. Our practitioners are fully qualified, licensed, and dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. However, individual results may vary.

To book an appointment, clients can do so through our website. All appointments require confirmation via our booking system. By booking an appointment, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information regarding your health condition and any relevant medical history.

We understand that life happens and encourage all our clients to advise us as soon as possible if they believe they will be unable to attend their appointment.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 6 hours' notice to avoid cancellation fees. We reserve the right to charge a fee equal to 50% of the original booking price if cancellations or reschedules are made with insufficient notice. 

Full payment of any outstanding fees is required before future bookings can be accepted.

If you do not show up for your appointment without prior notice, a 100% charge of the treatment will apply. We ask that you respect our time and the time of other clients.

Full payment for services are due at the time of treatment. We accept payment via cash, or credit card / EFTPOS through a SQUARE terminal. 

MEND does not currently provide digital claiming for health fund rebates at the time of service; however, a receipt with provider information can be supplied for applicable services for direct claiming.

All service prices are inclusive of GST if required. 

By booking an appointment, you confirm that the health information you provide to our practitioners is accurate and complete. You agree to promptly inform us of any changes to your health or medical condition before your treatment. Additionally, you agree to complete all required health history and consent forms to the best of your ability. These forms are a legal requirement for the services you receive and are designed in accordance with industry standards, as well as the requirements of relevant industry associations and Australian private health insurers with which your practitioner may be affiliated.

Certain health conditions may prevent us from providing certain treatments. We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe a treatment may not be suitable or safe for you. In such cases, we will offer suitable alternatives or recommend that you seek medical advice.

As a client at MEND, you are responsible for:

• Informing our practitioners of any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries that may affect your treatment.
• Following any aftercare advice given by your therapist.
• Arriving on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, your treatment time may be shortened, and the full treatment fee will apply.

MEND and its practitioners take every precaution to ensure your safety and comfort during treatments. However, by booking and receiving treatment, you acknowledge that there is an inherent risk in all physical treatments, including remedial massage and myotherapy. MEND will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the treatment, except in cases of proven negligence.

MEND respects your privacy and is committed to safeguarding your personal information. We will not share your personal details with any third parties, except where required by law or with your explicit consent. Please review our Privacy Policy for more detailed information on how we handle your data.

MEND reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the updated terms will take effect immediately upon posting. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically to stay informed of any changes.

All content on our website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and trademarks, is the property of MEND and is protected by copyright law. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes relating to these terms will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts in Queensland
